Die Ausbildung findet in Betrieb und Berufsschule statt.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h4>Berufliche F\u00e4higkeiten<\/h4>\n<p>Das Berufsbild weist eine gro\u00dfe Bandbreite auf. Neben dem Umgang mit unterschiedlichen Materialien erlernen die Auszubildenden auch die handwerklichen Grundlagen, die zur Aus\u00fcbung des Berufes notwendig sind.<\/p>\n<p>Die individuelle Herstellung von orthop\u00e4dietechnischen Hilfsmitteln, wie zum Beispiel Prothesen oder Orthesen, findet in der Regel in einer orthop\u00e4dietechnischen Werkstatt statt.<\/p>\n<p>Aber auch die Betreuung und Beratung von Kunden im Sanit\u00e4tshaus oder in Kliniken z\u00e4hlt zu den Aufgaben des Orthop\u00e4dietechnik-Mechanikers \/ der Orthop\u00e4diemechanikerin.<\/p>\n<h4>Ausbildungsinhalte im \u00dcberblick<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Anatomie, Pathologie und Physiologie des St\u00fctz- und Bewegungsapparates<\/li>\n<li>Biomechanik<\/li>\n<li>Anfertigung von Schuheinlagen<\/li>\n<li>Abgabe und Ausmessen von Bandagen und Kompressionstr\u00fcmpfen<\/li>\n<li>Anfertigung von Orthesen, wie z.B. Knieorthesen<\/li>\n<li>Anfertigungen von Prothesen, wie z. B. Unterschenkelprothesen<\/li>\n<li>Anfertigung und Anpassung von Rehabilitationsmitteln, wie z.B.
